Would somebody(winfred?!) point me in the right direction to find the bumper attachment bolts on a E34 M5, is there a thread somewhere to show them?

Remove the black trim parts and you'll find the mounting bolts behind there. If you search this on the forum you'll find a detailed description of how to.

Are the M5 mounting nuts not the same as any other e34 nuts?

They are the same on all E34: s (front and back) partnumber 51111852978
