is it me or does that calypso m5 have Victorian plates from Australia?

Yep, that's one of the OZ delivered cars. It was also used as a road test car, it appears in several of the Australian Magazines from 1990 and 1991. It came up for sale about a year ago, but I've never spoken to the owner, so I don't know anything else about the car.

A very interesting vid dude, though I was surprised when the voice over stated that no women build M-cars. Then further, no women buy them, (at least in North America). The again, its probably wrong. The music they put with it certainly was... :D It couldn't be worse than teven the most radical German Engineer's haircut during the 80s...

What an insult to the M-world this was. Did BMW sack the NA PR people following the creation of this? I could have done a better job on a handycam!! Not one acceleration or braking shot. Then there were all those yawning engineers doing CAD of boring brackets on DOS boxes- and they even ran some of that footage twice!!!
