My steering feels pretty loose for a BMW. It tends to wander and requires constant vigilance. Certainly nothing like my E90.
Here's What's Been Done:
Tire pressure checked
Steering box adjusted
Tie-rod ends replaced
Lower control arms
Front thrust arms and bushes
Wheel alignment
What did I forget?
Steering box adjusted
How did you adjust the steering box? Was told I needed the same.
TIA

I replaced my idler arm yesterday, and that seems to have helped tighten things a bit. I think tread design could also cause you to use "constant vigilence"... my summer tires require more of that than my winter ones.

My Indy improved things by adjusting the steering box and by swapping the front and rear tyres. The front ones had been wearing mostly on the inside edge and were, exaggerating a bit, conical. Swapping might help you too.
