Download all 8 files into the same folder & use WinRar to extract them. All 8 files will concatenate automatically into a single large (570 mb) .iso file when you open the 1st one. Use Nero or other CD burning utility to burn an "image" disk of the .iso file.

I would assume the TIS runs on all versions of Windows (except NT). Runs fine on 2000.

Scroll to the bottom of the page & you'll see a box with the file names. You'll have to cut-n-paste the individual http file links & download the 8 .rar files one at a time at rapidshare.com, take note of the "just4you" password, you'll need to enter that into WinRar to extract them.

Took most of a day to grab them one at a time since the rapidshare free version makes you wait 70 minutes between downloads.

I don't have a place to upload the 570 mb image file & if I did, it would tie up my computer for days.

TIS stands for Technical Infomation System. It is the PC-based software that the dealer uses to diagnose faults etc. It also shows inspection data for the various models. It's a very handy piece of software to have. Most manufacturers produce some sort of TIS software for their cars.

Hey, I've just downloaded and installed TIS, but I'm stuck, is there a way to change the language from German to English, or should I have done that at the install? Any time it asked me for a language I picked English, so I don't know what gives. I'm going to try reinstalling and see what happens.

Install bittorrent (google it if you cannot find it). Use isohunt (again google it) to locate the BMW TIS and down load it from the peer to peer network. Download all night long if need be.

It's OK - I bought a temporary Rapidshare membership for a few £, so I downloaded the whole thing in no-time!
