Im considering dying my interior Tobacco Brown, the rare interior color for the M5. Wont be anytime soon, just something to throw on the list to go along with my 4.0 swap.

I know theres an m5 touring with the color option floating around on here somewhere, i couldn't find it though.

My 1983 e28 had a tobacco brown interior. I really like it as it held up well and never faded. Not sure this helps you.

Thats too orange, imo. mine was a medioum to dark brown with blackish overtones.
