i figured that it would be a good idea to knock down the degrees and still use the general idea of the fan being a backup. It will diffidently get over 80 degrees sitting for a while in Georgia, the fans high speed will kick on at 89 and keep it steady.

That's what all the m3 guys are doing...? I figured it was right

What you drinkin tonight regal?:D

The M3 guys do it cause they dump the mechanical fan and use only the ‘lectric for cooling.
Frees up a few HP, M/S50 engines got heavy flys as it is.

hmmm, not so sure i want to go with the 85 degree tstat anymore. $40 over $18 is a big difference in cost.

Would it be worth it to change to an 85 or would i be fine since i will have the 80/89 degree fan switch?
