Look at the pictures in this post for some M88 headers.

A few pics down you can see some M-parallels, very close to the ground. Looks like the rubber tire is just painted on the rim.

Reminds me of the movie "Cars" where the protagonist car drives on bare rims.

looks like some stretched 30's if you ask me. I run 265/35's on the rear of mine, its thin but not rediculous thin...

theres a ridiculous "euro" trend to stretch small tires on large rims.

i'm serious, it's popular with a lot of the vw's in my city, you end up with really really stretched sidewalls over deeper dish rims.

The second shot looks more like style 5's, not m-pars.
The roads here get salted in winter, they are always harsh, and potholes this time of year could swallow an entire front end. As much as I'd like to do 18's, I am going to have to go with 17's to have even a chance with some of the craters around here.

Hehe, the funny thing is, guys with lowriders have been doing the same thing for years, just for a different reason. :P

Unfortunately, most people don't seem to understand that there are limits to how wide a tire you can go to before the handling actually gets worse and it seem like this stretching a tire onto a rim would just emulate that effect.
