There is absolutely nothing like bimmer.info. I've been spoiled by the interaction here, but my son has a '87 325is so I need a forum to help keep up with problems on it. What are the best sites?
Apparently e30 sites are overrun with teenagers, but there must be some sound tech advice buried in all the BS.

e30tech as well. R3v isn't bad.
Bimmerforums is what I'm on the most, even if it's mostly an E36 site.

uhh, Jordan (aforementioned moderator/creator of R3V) is long gone from that site. He had some sort of meltdown and got mad, so some of his buddies bought him out and revamped the site. Jordan also sold his E30 on Ebay surrounded by much ballyhoo- and bought himself a nice E36M3.
IMHO, it's much better now that he's gone- but R3V is full of mostly young guys- some of whom need a serious attitude adjustment from time to time. But there is a wealth of info and knowledge to be found there IF you know who to believe.
I stopped looking at E30tech a while ago- too many idiots, and mostly duplicate posts from R3V. Bimmerforums.com has a decent E30 section. Roadfly............well, what can I say..... they pretty much suck and dug their own grave IMHO.

I must admit I've pulled a few e30's apart over the last few years. They are very straightforward to work on.
Cheers,
