I need to fix, repair or replace the covers on my beige (natural) door panels. I have a 1989 535i. In reality only the drivers door needs repair where bits and pieces of the covering has broken off. The rest of the doors just need to be cleaned and reglued. Is there a kit available? Has anyone tried any of the 3m spray glues? Do I need to use two types of glue? One for the panel and one for the piece that sits on the top of the panel and runs along the windows edge. How about vinyl stain that you can spray from a can? Anyone have any success stories on repairing these panels?
