...I ask since I see winfred's post to JonK shows a bowled piston head...

Just curious... interesting little point about the piston, wonder about the head. Cheers,

It is my understanding that BMW heads have been "hemi'ed" since the introduction of the 1938 328 that won the Mille Miglia.
