I just retrofitted e39 shift knob, e39 domelight because I want those little mood lights at night:D but cant get those damn center lights to light up!anyone know how?:) here's some pix...sorry it was taken in a camera phone so its not that clear.....

bout the center console got it like that,planning to change that...bout the dome light,the stock dome light is a little longer than the e39's,ill do something bout that:D

Are those "mood lights" on all the time? (or when the ignition is past position 0?) Can't you just wire up some LEDs and house them somehow in the stock E34 interior light?

the"mood lights" turn on with the park lights...I dunno bout putting LED's in stock interior lights...but what I did before I put LED's in the rearview mirror but I found them ugly so I took it out then bought e39 dome lights...cant have them center lights working though only the reading lights:(
