It has a Hermle German movement with optional Bim-bam or westminster chimes, and the pendulum swings.

each clock requires an BMW to die, so if anyone wants one PM me if you got a whole grill to send me and a few $$$ to spend on a handmade clock

The real question is, which is better?
Excellent work with the clock, if you had a lot of wide grilles hanging around and wanted to make them and put them on eBay, I would definitely get one for myself.

a bmw steering wheel that has a colored in roundel in centre would have been the more obvious choice.
