Brake Lining Warning - Reset?

I changed my brake pads and am still getting a Brake Lining warning. Is there a reset procedure or something for this?

You have to replace the sensor on the pad

Did you just replace the front pads? The back ones have a sensor too. If it is scored its probably had it. But they are only about £5 from the dealer. One of my more pleasant shopping experiences :-)

Just loop the wiring and close,the circuit, it will delete the sensor. I don't use it, I check the brakes visually twice a year when I change tires for summer/winter... besides, you still got the metal gage on the pads that will sound off if you wait too long...
