What is the other car that replaces it? One of only 1800 with getrag 5-speeds? What other kind of 5 speed was used on the M30 powered e34s thorughout the rest of the world? They HAD to have made more than that/// ? Nick

This vehicle is 1 of only 1800 E34 535I's fitted with the Getrag five speed.....One of only 10 in Australia.

Mine is an Oz delivered 535 manual. I seem to recall there being a few others for sale at the same time I bought this one.

Mine is also an Aus delivered manual 535i, but considerably bastardised since then:D

Beware: there are a few Japanese 535 manuals floating around now......Damn import laws!

Only 10 were originaly sold as Australian delivered........Remember I'm only talking about M30 powered AUS DELIVERED E34 535's.

There is now 5 I know of in Perth: Mine, one from SA and 2 are Japanese and one is U.K. private import.

Worldwide auto's were 95% of all E34's built.
I think you'll find there were a lot more than only 10 Australian delivered E34 535i manuals.
I've seen at least 10 in the last three years and I'm certain I haven't seen 'em all!
There's at least one for sale on www.carsales.com.au every few weeks.
