Is this brake upgrade possible for an e34??

Looks an awful lot like the stock 840ci brembo brakes that do indeed bolt right up. Need 16" wheels.

bmwe34.net has a list of things that bolt up. There are no e38 brakes on the list. I'm not sure if the list is 100% complete. You could check with brembo. They might be willing to help you out.

I've never seen e31 840 brakes but the ebay add say they are off an e38 7 series so you will need an adaptor plate custom made for them to work. They won't bolt straight onto the strut.

i tried searching the net with no luck with this concern... i might just upgrade with an e32 750i front brakes then... but if there is someone out there who tried this, please let me know... thanks!
