1994 530I knock sensor

I have been told by the dealer that I need to replace a knock sensor on 1995 530I (Alusil Motor). Now the good part. He claims BMW has changed the part and therefore I must replace all 4 sensors if it is to work properly ($156,00 CAD each). Can anyone confirm if this is in fact true. Thank you

Knock Sensor ie Crank or Cam Sensors?

sounds strange to me, Im assuming your talking about spark knock sensors. I didnt know they had 4 on the V8s, are they saying replace all the sensors or just spark knock sensors?

call bma and get a price, I think they are much less than what you are quoted.
