onto a 95 525i with power seats? And if you can, does anyone know the procedure?

I'd like to get memory seat option working on my regular power seats.

That is not that easy as you thought.
The memory switch does not help you at all. It does not work on standard electric seats without more mods.
You would need position sensors, a memory module under front driver seat, new door mirros with 2 motors and a different wire loom for the mirros.
A new wire loom for the seat. To get a rough idea.
