I have a standard 525i with M20 motor and seem to have a miss when starting Could it be the injectors ? & if I replace them what is the equivelent Bosch part number?
Currently I believe the existing ones are 15lbs Will 19lbs work and what will be the outcome

you dont want to change the injector sizes...just dont. This is about the least expensive sets available.

perhaps bob you should elaborate, it could be something like coolant temp sensor also. something in the EFI system.

Yeah if the coolant temp sensor is busted and telling the ECU the engine's warm, you're in for trouble :s

It could be the injectors or a ignition problem. Stay with the standard size fuel injectors. could be the Idle control valve also Bob. My idle sounds like it's missing but it checked out fine on a snapon modius scanner. maybe the air flow meter it old also.

If that is the case, will the temp gauge show the temp to be high right from the start?

Temperature gauge for the cluster has a different sensor than the temp sensor for the MOTRONIC. They are not interconnected.

Is the temp sensor for the Motronic located on the radiator?

ECU Temp guage and dash temp guage are separate.
