Been doing alot of research and found out Copper plugs are where its at. Iridium breaks, fouls, and only last long on an econo engine(just like platinum)

which brings me to my first question. The NGK most of us run is a BKR6E (single) the colder plug is the BKR7E (most FI guys get these to prevent detonation) So is there any benefit to having colder/hotter plugs?

My second question is, what gap is recomened? It seems like they have changed over the years .32, .29, .28 and now im seeing .25... So on a slightly modded 3.0v8 what would be best?

So far the BKR6E is doing fine for me (still better than new dual electrodes). colder means easier to foul because less selfcleaning. shortening gap will increase the odds of your plug firing but lessen the intensity. The last few lines are secondhand info.

if i am not mistaken, the stock plugs do not have an adjustable gap?

the single electrode copper ones are adjustable, they actually say "gap to manufacturers specifications" I think they come stock .32 and our cars use somewhere between a .28 and .32

the NGK BRK6EQUIP have 4 ground electrodes and are supposed to be good, pregapped to .032. I use the Bosch coppers on my 530 but got the NGKs for the ATE'r
