removing the front door handle

Followed the procedure for the removal of the door handle but can get the lock linkage to release. Is there a trick?

Followed the procedure for the removal of the door handle but can get the lock linkage to release. Is there a trick?


If you remove all three door lock mounting torx screws, everything will free up making it easy to get the lock linkage to release. One of the screws is behind the door molding so you have to move that aside to get to it.
