Prepping the other sport seat for new cover.

I took the 2nd e30 m3 sport seat apart. Kevin, the artisan, on mye28 forum is sewing new covers. I am considering having the foam cut down about 1/2" on the inserts. Looking forward to this new driver's seat; the passenger seat in the 535 now is great; comfy, more headroom, lighter, & well bolstered.

egads, let us know how it goes, I have a fresh seat cover awaiting the hog rings. Not looking forward to the project at all.

The manual sport seats are a relative breeze to rebuild. There are no motors in the way, & the inserts are seperate from the side bolsters. The seat is also pretty light, letting ya flip the thing over to get at things without breaking/bending the frame.
