on my 3.3L 7 series (same M30 block as the 535 ?), the middle freeze plug leaks. I removed it, but wonder how to install a new one. The front suspension blocks access for a straight, head-on whack with a BFH.
any tips?
TIA

damn that sounds interesting! Any way to use a socket inside the plug and use say... a 2 x 4 or something to press fit it in?

to provide even pressure to avoid distortion during install.
but it doesn't fit in this situation.
someone mentioned using a scissors jack to press it in, but I haven't found one small enough... :(
