wire color coding legend?

anyone have a legend defining the acronyms used in identifying the the color codes on the wiring harness? jeez i just read that back again and it confused me! you know like RT/BR/GE or VI/WS or GR/SW. Yikes.

It's German abbreviations.
RT is rot, red BR braun, brown GE ? VI, violett WS, weiss white Gr, grun green SW swart,black

Ah, GE gelb, yellow

there are of course some triple colored wired, like brown-yellow, with red dots. and i'm serious.
