car won't start....help

It just died, it will not ctank at all. engine will spin by hand and it have electrical power going to all systems, exept the starter. The car was driving perfect and parked, went back to it about an hour later and it started, all lights comes on but when turning the key to start, NOTHING, Is a 95. 535 auto with a EAT chip on it. sugestions????

Whack a voltmeter on the solenoid engergise line and see whether the solenoid's receiving power.

If it's not, check the starter relay.

Must be the heat. It's happening all over, similar symptoms.
I am dealing with the ignition cylinder in the steering column, keep that in mind. Key turns, but won't engage starter, won't turn the car completely off either...
