brake lining light on

i replaced brakes about 5k miles ago and replaced brake sensor. now the light turns on. i just replaced the brake switch under the dash to see if that would shut it off. it wasnt clicking like the new one so i replaced it. what can i check next. thanks.

If a connector to a brake wear sensor has come unplugged, or filled with water and crud, it will open the circuit and trip the light.
