A/C broken after car accident. Seattle is hot as hell.

My A/C stopped blowing cold air after a car accident where I got hit in the front passenger corner bumper/quarter panel area. Anyone with experience with this know what may be the problem? Thanks in advance.

Take a close look at stuff inside the front fender. Take the windshield washer reservoir and air cleaner out to get a better look if need be. Pay particular attention to the receiver/dryer and connections there and at the compressor.

I had a similar wreck in mine and it snapped the plastic top off of the pressure switch on the receiver/dryer, but did not vent the freon and the a/c would not come on.

If yours suffered similar damage and the system needs to be evacuated to replace something, go ahead and put a new receiver/dryer in it.
