M5 Upper Control Arm Bushies in 540?

I bought these bushings after reading many calling them the best solution but i realise i hadn't taken into account they may have been 6 cyl owners.. as is the M5... is the extra vehicle weight going to be a problem for these bushings?

i duno. i went with the 750 bushings.

That is interesting.. I know about the service bulliten directing 750i bushings be used on all e34 other than the M5 and that's what i've had for the last year. Just getting ready to have them put in finally and the thought occured to me my car is heavier but then again the M5 delivers alot of power so they must be designed to withstand the forcesencountered therewith or something.. Just started wondering if they'd rip real easy from the extra weight.. what is it like around 200 lbs difference ?

I don't have any problems with the M5 bushings in my 7, which is about 150 lbs heavier than an e34-m30. I have come to the conclusion that the harshest wear & tear on the bushings is lifting the front off the ground with a floorjack under the front crossmember. It's the torsional twist of the center of the bushings with respect to the arms that tears them.

Ramps are the way to go, but then again, there are times when one or both wheels must be unweighted for repairs such as brakes or struts, etc. As much of a pain it would be, it would be best to drive the front up on ramps and loosen all the control arm bolts before unweighting the wheels.
