This car has had more niggling little faults and irritations with it than I've had hot dinners >:/
Coming home from the flicks this evening, minding my own business, and...

Followed by a 'tinking' noise from the back left. EDIT: Right, d'uh.
Having a nosey through the rear alloys showed up:

Blurry, I know.
I can say with absoloute certainty that that brake sensor was fastened down securely and the cable seated properly after replacing the pads not so long ago.
This car's gonna drive me nuts.

There's supposed to be a retention clip o.O?
There was a little steel clip thingie around the outside of the sensor itself, but I wasnt aware there was supposed to be a retention clip?

*Hisses like a scalded cat*
Unless it's the fire breathing 2.0 GSi or whatever it is - that went down as one of the most stolen cars in insurance history iirc.

The only thing holding my sensors in is a little clip shaped like an Omega. Coincidence?:)

Abomination.
"Oh yah sorry lads we forgot to tell you that this mod causes your ecu to overfuel and hence wash the oil off the bores and wear your engine out in the next 40k miles..."
I swear I'm going to start running riced corsas off the road, now that they've replaced the defacto chav car - the nova.

This one looks like it's been duct-taped together, and its front grille or headlights didnt fit...

Get off the GM saga! you need to fix the clip to the calliper then push the sensor into it otherwise it will fall out.

These cars do have a lot of annoyances. I can't say working on them is very pleasant in comparison to many other cars either. German engineering woo [ :( ].
