I thought I'd take advantage of this flooding to snap a few pictures of the delightful British Summer:
These first four are of Pangbourne Park:

These last few are from sonning bridge... bear in mind that you're supposed to be able to get a fairly large boat under sonning bridge!

Some artsy long-exposure ones, that I've not had time to level adjust yet ;.; photoshop self destructed on my laptop.

It's a real shame that some beautiful parts of Britain are getting wrecked. Hope you haven't lost anything bud!

Ha! We're fortunate enough that we live on the top of a hill :)
However, I still have to wade the 5T through three foot deep floods on the way to work and the same back again :/ produces some impressive spray if you hit it with your foot down :D

just don't let the intake get below the water level or the fun is over, when it drys out make sure you don't have any water intrusion in the diff and tranny

Friend of mine plugged his air intake when we had a flood once. The funny part.... he forgot to unplug it afterwards. Heh :D

Glad you`re on high ground! Was in Reading last friday trying to get to Gatwick, took 6 hours by train, bus and taxi, only 4hrs late.TDS`S very good in water as long as you pull off the intake pipe, lights will give up though, what twat forgot to turn them off, this one.
