hello smooooth running m30. Finally! Just finished replacing the manifold gaskets. Check engine light is gone,( 1221 / 1222) and the car runs like it should. Before finding the manifold gasket leak(bottom side of manifold on the number 4 intake runner) I had replaced O2 sensor, cap, rotor, plugs, plug wires, all vacuum lines (all original). With all the new componants the car really runs sweet.
The manifold removal was not to bad. I pulled it back just far enough to get the old gaskets off and the new ones on. Access to a few of the bolts took some time, but it feels good to save myself 500-700 dollars that my independent wanted.
