Since I get all my answers to my BMW questions here, I thought I would give this a shot.
I am trying to remove the Lock Cylinder from our 2000 Chrysler Voyager. The Haynes manual says depress the switch underneath the cylinder and Oila!...but not so for me.
History: There was an attempt to steal the van and so the key will not even fit into the cylinder. The whole part is fubard. The switch is in "run" since the thieves got it that far but did not know that I had disconnected the battery and was replacing the water pump at the time so it wouldn't start. So I was actually able to hook up the battery and van started. Anyway, I have done everything I possibly can to remove the frickin thing. Any help would be much appreciated.
