Anyone seen black M-cont's? They've got some icky curb rash... and I'm thinking they were a DIY powdercoat job, but they're still pretty nice... REALLY nice from a distance.
This is the second set of M-contours I've owned in my search for the beautiful 17x10 versions with monster lips. For $200 I couldn't help but snatch them. It's just holding back my EAT chip even longer. I'll sport them for a week maybe then do what I planned and try to sell them for profit. :D

I think you are right... been custom powdercoated to previous owner's desire. I have M-Contour in 15"... bought it just before sold out and out of production in 2001. I got black car so the traditional silver looks awesome.

I like my 16" M-Contour replicas. Really easy to detail and the finish has held up great for the past 6 years they've been on the car. One of the five does have a slight bend on the inside rim edge that I need to have repaired.
Like I said, these may be for sale real cheap real soon if you guys are interested for an upgrade :)

Macv looking to sell your 58s anytime soon?
Macv looking to sell your 58s anytime soon?
Not really. You'll have to ask again if I ever find the set of 17x10 Contours I'm looking for.
Gott'em on. I'm not a huge fan of black wheels on a lighter color car... but it looks alright.

how much are you looking to get for them? do they come with rubber?
Yeah, I'll sell them with the tires and BMW caps. I don't want to scare anyone away from the deal, but I'd really like it if the prospective buyer comes out and sees them. The pictures don't show the imperfections. First of all, I found out they aren't powdercoated... they're just spray on wheel coated. The black is actually very well done, however the polished lips need some attention. They've also been curbed a time or two, and one tire has a small chunk of rubber out of it (my tire guy says its fine to drive on) which is in the pic above. The polish lip just needs sanded and refinished. I just don't have the time for it.
If anyone is still interest (lol) and wants pics of the problems let me know. It's really not as bad as I make it look, I'm just not here to rip anyone off (AngryPancake) and don't want that reputation. Throw me an offer. :D
Another shot because I like taking pictures...

No offense, but that's exactly what a high-offset wheel looks like on a low offset application. CLEARLY those wheels were designed for a 3 series and the manufacturer added some pad to lower the offset for a 5,6,7,or 8 series application. Not my idea of "goodlooking" but that's just my 2 cents.....
