View Full Version : M60 Camshaft Alignment Tool Loaner Anyone?
I've been searching the net and can't find anyplace to rent me one... I can use a straight edge to align them but I'd be much more comfortable using the right tool for this.
Cheers,
Evan

I bought this one from this seller. It's expensive but timing is very important. I still have mine and would sell it for $100 shipped. I also would include the flywheel lock tool.

thanks, dude... i'm either going to rent one or just use a straight edge... i wanna put the tool money towards something else...
it's a pain doing this with the motor in the car.. i'll never do it this way again.

you can get the v8 set from a place on ebay, something like 120-130 delivered, the v8 is a bitch as the cams want to spring over and won't hold in place like the inline 6 that has enough cam lobes to hold it
looks like i'll be using the straight-edge method
