I really don't know what to think about it. What about you guys?

I found a motertrend magazine from 94 and saw this E39 concept photo. It talks about a possible minivan based on the "new" 5 series model. I also found a picture from me at the DC auto show sometime in 95 i think it was and saw me in front of a bmw minivan. I dont know what i did with that picutre but it was funny.

****... that E39 concep is ugly!!
E34 with E36 frontend, anyone??
BMW rumoured a mid sized van based on the 7er chassis a few years back... Similar in styling to the Australian/japanese Honda Odyssey (The sloped front one that looks like the TGV train...)
The 7er van had the 7s headlights and stuff... but it looked kinda..not good.

from the way the lower bumper looks, it looks like some ugly kid at school smiling with braces on hahaha

WTF is that? It looks like a dodge magnum. God what is happening to BMW whatever happened to the distinctive styling. It looks like a 3 series touring rear ended a CS concept.

I'm sorry, but that looks 90% like an E36, with some slight e39 features. wtf?
I dunno guys. People were thinking the same thing about our models when they first came out. Some day in the future these new models will be classics.
At the moment I don't care for them, but they'll grow on us. Just like the e60's for me.
It's awful, just what the Bangle style deserves. Put a Mazda badge on it and sell to single moms.

Good point, I think it would take a few years [hopefully] before they would bring it to the States.
The whole series of cars that they are making now that just move people and nothing else still leaves me conflicted. Maybe I am starting to get old and set in my ways :P

I resent the implication :P lol...
Your right though.. the fat cats over here will most likely lap something like this up and it will quickly turn into the new yuppie car/motorway rep car...
