Hey All. I haven't posted in forever just been lurking once in awhile. Just got back from France and had a licence plate made up for myself while I was there. The BMW stealer wants $120 for the front bumper molding to accept the Euro plate. Does anyone have one they are willing to part with or know where else I might look without getting ****ed in the drive through?
Thanks for the input, Shawn

I ask for bump on this one, I missed out on getting my plates when i was in europe a month ago, but i got a friend comming back from scottland with some for me and I am also interested.
Try abrahamsmotorsport.com I received mine in last week. I inquired if I could order the Euro plate holder through their company and they were very accommodating. You might have to wait a couple of weeks for it to arrive and their customer service is fantastic. :D
Try BMP Design http://www.bmpdesign.com/ or Bavarian Autosport http://www.bavauto.com/

I checked out Bav Auto and they only had the North American bumper part but I have e-mailed them with the actual OEM part number that I need to see if they can help (#5111934337). Any other ideas would be welcome. In case anyone would care to know, I was told in France that they are discontinuing the traditional Euro plate and by the end of 2008 all cars sold in the European union will come with a significantly smaller plate or even sticker that will stay permanently with the car rather than being registered to a particular driver.
Thanks again, Shawn

Scotland uses EU plates right? For Great Britain I believe. The one on my car is from Deutschland and it is also from Bavaria so it makes my car feel at home. Even my frame says "BMW Munchen" :D
