I have an opportunity to purchase the brakes off an 89 E32 750i, and I was wondering if these are a worthy upgrade for my 95 525i?

Will it all just bolt across?

Thanks

Aden

the fronts will bolt up fine, but to get the vented rears you need the whole control arm as e32 rotors have a slightly different offset, doesn't effect the wheel just the brake, 28mm thick front rotors vs the 22s on e34s and vented rear rotors vs solid, same sweaped area
had them on my 535 and they worked good

ps, that's single piston front/rear calipers on our cars, not sure if the rest of the world got anything better, if so then do some measuring

Thanks for the quick reply.

These are the front brakes currently on my car: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=HD62&mospid=47375&btnr=34_0443&hg=34&fg=05

Would the brake balance feel uneven if I upgrade just the fronts or shouldn't it be much or a problem since the rears are same size?

Thanks.

Thanks. No you can keep the solids at the rear with no difference- you just get more heat resistance at the front. The 30mm rotors won't stop you any faster tho...

just a few more times before they start getting stiff

Thanks for the good info. The reason I was looking at upgrading was due to the fact that I will be taking the car to the track in November; so while the brakes need replacing I thought I'd look into upgrades.
