540 sluggish when cold

[540 touring]

Hello all

My 540 touring seems to struggle on a morning when starting from cold. It starts no problem, but has little acceleration. It seems to take ages to get to 50 mph and kick-down has little effect other than changing gear.
Any ideas ?
I wondered if it might be the AFM ?

If yours is auto gearbox, I would say thats about right! You don't want to be giving it too much when its cold anyway. Although I wouldn't expect a 540 to struggle as such.

thanks mate. Mine is the auto. I don't hammer it, especially when cold but still feel it should be more responsive. I'll try the AFM.
