just for shits and giggles. I have seen this really sharp black E36 M3 on this "preowned" lot. So I figured why the hell not take a look. Afterall I am looking to get another one.
So I got the details. Its a 1999 M3, Cosmos black with a black interior. 76k. Completely stock except the kenwood head unit. HK stereo, heated seats, etc.. Well I didnt get a chance to drive it since another car was blocking it in but I will be back tommorow. Anyway everything works in it. Including the headlight switch that never illuminates. M3 floor mats and trunk mat and even comes with origina stereo. They are asking $15,575 for it. Is this a good deal?

I'd buy it

Drive it, then you tell us.
Hope it's a stick, I've never had fun in an auto m3. It's one thing to drive an auto 540, but for it to be an M and still not have the mantranny, it would be torture.

Its a good price for a mint one, but if it needs maintenance, it might not be so great.
Maintenance items arent too different from the E34 around the same mileage, FWIW.

15k for a 99 with only 76k miles is a hell of a deal.

Sounds pretty good.
A friend of mine was looking at a white one with grey interior up here in Michigan. The car was in great shape, I think 1995, had 170k miles. Brakes may have need a little work and it needed an a/c switch. The guy wanted $6,900. We drove it...ran and rode nice. I was amazed at how fast she was.
Funny thing...it was so low to the ground that there was an aluminum Pepsi can lying on it's side in the middle of the road...we drove over it, caught it under the car and dragged it for a bit.

well i took it for a test drive. car drives great also has a clean carfax. i was very impressed at how much more power the 3.2 has over the 3.0 liter. The last owner was a dentist and had the car serviced at the dealer. I am having the lot send the car to the BMW dealer to have them look over the car before I decide to make the jump. The car is missing the front lip spoiler and 2 clips on the passenger side side skirt are broken. The bulb for the clock is also burned out. Im making them fix those problems before I take delivery of it. Otherwise exterior is very good condition. Interior is the same. A few wear marks by where the door handles are and wear on the drivers seat but that is to be expected.
I am trading my E34 towards it but before I do I will be putting the stock wheels on, tails and corners back on too. If anyone is interested PM me or email me an offer at german_owns_you@hotmail.com
The wheels are style 19s with general exclaim UHP rubber on them. I have only put maybe 4500 miles on the tires and are in very good shape. Around 9 to 10/32s left. Wheels are straight and in good shape but the clear coat is peeling badly off the lips and some light curb rash. Looking to get $800 for those plus shipping. I have DEPO clear tails and corners in good condition I will be looking to get $25 for the fronts and $75 for the rears. I also have a euro plate bracket for the front Im looking to get $40 for that and I have an M tech rear filler plate, $40 for that plus shipping.

ok the reason I cant find my stock tails is because I sold them a few months ago. if you want them you would have to send me the stock tails plus money then I will ship the euro ones.
