View Full Version : how do i re-align the rear bumper

on the driver's side, it's sitting maybe a little over a quarter of an inch too far forward (as in sticking out towards the front of the car out of line) ... hardly noticeable, but it bugs me.
how do i go about fixing this?

could it be that the shock absorber is a bit compressed by an accident?

I thought about it, but there isn't a single scratch or bump anywhere on the bumper. It looks like someone took it off for whatever reason and didn't bolt it back up quite right.

there might not be any scratches because you have a replacement bumper as a result of the accident - which would explain the misalignement.

Arent the shocks on these wax, which means they compress once and are shot?
