I was wondering if anyone has read or used a dinan transmission chip in their e34. I heard it was an even bigger difference than a mark d chip. Where should I look for this chip at and what does it do? Is it even available for the m20 (1990) e34?
Also, I never bothered to look into dinan exhausts... but their site is claiming ****ing 29 hp gains with their freeflow system? http://www.dinancars.com/Series.asp?Series=15&Chassis=14&Model=67
Is that utter lies?

I have a dinan trans chip in my new 740i. While I have no basis of comparison to a stock 740i yet, I will say the way this trans works totally surprised me. It downshifts like I would if it were a manual, it holds gears better based on throttle position. I've never driven a stock 740i, as I said, but I've driven plenty of other auto BMWs. I love the way this trans works.

I know that the conforti and eat ECU chips are good. Haven't heard much about the dinan chip.

Works just like Alan_525i says. I use Mark's EAT chip for the engine.

Dinan told me it only works at Wide Open Throttle on the 4 speed 525i. Raises the RPM for shift points. No other changes. Part thottle works the same. Not worth it in my opinion.
