The E34 owner who has a little attention to detail and takes decent care of their car is rewarded with a great combination of performance, comfort, safety and reliability. It seems strange to me that anyone would let a good car get that bad.

My dad ran a car with no reverse for about 18 months, it became a challenge in the end to see how long he could get away with it. It takes real forward thinking I can tell you!!

How about this EXACT replica of an M5, even people at his local main dealer couldn't tell the difference (the blind ones that is), and genuine M5 alloys (or is that 540?) Who is he kidding? The e34 M5 is probably one of the easiest hot models to 'look-a-like' and people still mess it up;

I see torn apart and beat up E34s around here all the time. Rarely if ever see one in a good condition.

I don't mean to offend anyone by this but I think its because people looking for a cheap car find an e34 in the budget and are never prepared for the maintenance costs. "Im living in a trailer but im driving a BMW." If your not making good money, or not prepared to DIY then this car is not a good option.

Thies cars are worth a lot more then what they sell for imo. If the prices were higher they would stay out of the hands of people who would abuse them.
