I've got my car up on jack stands w/ the exhaust off and the drive shaft out... I got the 2 sections of the driveshaft separated but can't get the center bearing off... It looks like a couple light taps w/ a hammer should release the bearing from the driveshaft but, no go...
Any suggestions??
Thanks in advance!
You could use a puller or..... do like I did and whack the crap out of it with a screw driver and hammer, will slowly work its way off. Just be careful not to damage the driveshaft it self and work your way around the bearing so it comes off straight.
Obviously this will ruin the centre bearing but, hay, your replacing it anyway!!!

that about covers it, a air hammer works well if you have access
