Dave - just looking for a block that can be honed and not be out of round or anything. Basically something that doesn't have scoring or anything in the cyl hones. I need to stay 84mm bore.

Given it saw 300k, I'd want to give it an exam and accurate measurement before contemplating it for use. I need an excuse to rip it apart, so now I have one.
Any hints as to what its intended for??

Well I don't want to mislead you if its super high mileage I don't know if I am interested. But tear it apart and see what ya got if you have the interest to do so.
I am trying to build a back up engine for... things to come in the spring time.
