I need some of the plastic nuts that hold the plastic splash panel underneath the car. I can't find them in real oem. Does any know a source, where to find them in real oem or a good substitute?

I may be wrong but I think I saw some at a hardware store called "ACE Hardware"... I didn't stop to get a good look but may be worth checking out.

Well, since these use neither a coarse nor fine thread and have a built in washer I don't think they be available there. Good suggestion though.

They are the same plastic nuts used to hold the rear seat back down.

AutoHauz, AZ or dealer. There are at least two dealer parts sources you can order online.

Can you take a picute of this splash panel... is it like a tray that keeps water and **** from being thrown into the engine compartment? I didn't think my car had one... hmm

Get them at the dealer. Last time I needed some, I was buying some other parts and they gave them to me.
And, yes, the splash panel is a tray that keeps water from being thrown up into the engine compartment and keeps oily drizzles from hitting the driveway. I've got one sitting in my garage. Want a picture of that?

Mine's at home in the garage, but I can take a picture for you tonight. For the longest time mine was held on by 3 instead of 4 nuts, and I just lost one changing out the water pump. It mounts just behind the grill and under the radiator and keeps water and crap out of the engine compartment.
