Anyone ever swapped a m62 4,4 into ther e34 540??
I am thinking of one of the early m62 without vanos.
Any problems??

Howabout an S62 or the new M3 engine? Seriously those would be choice V8's

To expensive.........I have a m62b44 on hand for about 1300usd and a friend of mine sells superchargers, so that is the way for me;)

LOL! Ask shogun about this, someone did this to an E32, and it was a horrendous undertaking! Way expensive and everything had to be changed...

I don't remember the specifics, but it's absolutely insane according to the guy who did it... he's on the 7er forum...
