Anyone ever try these Superwhite (http://cgi.ebay.com/PIAA-168-Wedge-Xtreme-Super-White-Twin-Pack_W0QQitemZ5676846793QQcmdZViewItem)bulbs in their side markers? Wondering if they're too bright. I was also considering replacing the interior bulbs with LED's
like these;

I do, in fact, have a few burned out interior lights.

Any links/info about this? If it's plug & play I'm all for it.
Otherwise, $tealer here I come.

check the Bavarian Auto (http://www.bavauto.com/shop.asp) site under 'Interior">Interior Electrical>Dome Lights.

I used to have something like that in my domes. They were from autolumination.com however. I had beautful xenon white for a long time. I recently changed it to whorehouse red :D

I still have a smoked set in my euro driving lights.

Here's the only pic I have. They're about the same color as 4300 hid.

Changed the backlighting in my A/M switch to a small orange LED. Also upgraded the low beam bulbs to 9005 bulb type for a little extra light. That's about it for lighting upgrades here.

I used to do that, but I got sick of modding the bulbs all the time!

Put some DEPO Euro smileys in the 525 sedan. Like the city lights at dawn and dusk.

Just put plain old H1 bulbs...don't want to go blue or purple.

Did some LED back lights for the OBC, but LEDs don't produce wide diffused beams so they don't work well in the light pipe type applications.

Anyone know where to get super bright trunk license plate bulbs? I've noticed the 335i coupe has super bright ones and my car has weak bulbs.

Lightbulbs dim with age. I ordered these from the UK (Osram Silverstars) on my euro car. The light cone is brighter and much longer. It throws light up to 75 metres without blinding on-coming traffic.

Took the backsides off my ellipsoid lowbeams and they were dirty*, plus the socket area was warped from some fool trying to put some odd aftermarket bulb in them in the past so I took some of the other ellipsoids we had laying around, used the backsides (the mirror finish was perfect) and cut out the deflector plate... this was the best thing I have ever done. There is not alot of difference between my lowbeams and the ultra-whites someone put in my highbeams, now. I had at some time in the past used Aircraft Remover (paint stripper) to take that cap off the end of my lowbeam bulbs rather than try to cram highbeam bulbs into my lowbeams. Gosh, these are bright, now! No need for anything else, IMO.

*Defenitely, do not try to do anything but the most gentle cleaning on the mirror finish in these. I know I had read this before, but got stupid and tried to use rubbing compound to clean the inside. In the end I had polished it all off figuring the polished plastic surface would be nice and bright... it was so dim it was almost like driving with no lights, even with the deflector plates removed and the front lense+projector cleaned.
