I'd like your feedback on it before I buy one. Is the quality good?
Any problems with it? I'm planning to install some HID's in them.

I've heard nothing but complaints about the low quality of the Depo lights. Stick with Hella's.

I bought a set of these...yeah their not Hellas, but they fit perfect, wiring was included (just gotta do up the city lights)
No HID for me, just plain ol' H1s...
Most of the used Hellas look like crap and new ones are running $500.

Originally I thought whats the point of spending extra cash on headlamps but now as my depos constantly have problems I'm starting to thin the hellas might be worth it

quality counts

I have got the new Hella black yesterday from Germany. Of course much more expensive, but worth the money.
For example the high beam reflectors are made of metal, (I checked it with a magnet), not like the cheapos made out of plastic with chrome sprayed on or so.

What kind of problems?
the electrical connecter on the back of the buckets keep disconnecting. as of now my fogs are out, my high beams are out, the lenses are cracked, the lights themselves are terribly dim and the fogs get condensation in them quite often
My DEPOs have been nothing but perfect.

Has anyone installed HID kits into Depo's? I'm concerned about melting issues.

Nothing has melted in mine. HID for a year.
Seems like DEPO's are hit or miss. I've heard about 50% say they can't stand them, and the other love them to death.

I have them, the build quality sucks, but once theyre in they look pretty good and work well enough.
I think my LKM may be going out because my parking lights/signal lights stay lit.

Bob,
those appear to be the same lights that the other vendor wants $149 for. Both say they are made by "DEPO".
Has anyone else got any comments about these lights? I'
m looking for 2 or 3 sets. (one for my brother and 2 for the M's)

for under $50 I just replaced the lenses with polycarbonate plastic ones from bmwlight and threw in a set of silverstar ultras. The light actually hits the road now instead of reflecting off the lens.

I second that. I originally bought the Euro Smileys from ebay but i got Angel eyes in the mail instead. I learned to live with them. They work fine in my opinion. I just never get around to aligning them. hahaha
