to bleed the clutch on a a 1990 525i, is it just the simple push down the clutch, then open the bleeder close it and repeat until no bubbles?? just wanna make sure....

i replaced the tie rod assembly on my car... pricey$$$$$

but... i was originally qouted at 180 for a total for moog

then i went to advanced auto... the whole thing for 90$ and he said they were TRW with a lifetime warranty... intrestingly enough got them out of the package and the ball joints had moog stamped on em...

im soooo happy... :D

not quite that simple, the best way i've found is to just open the bleeder and let the fluid flow through gravity powered, after it flows clear close the screw and push the rod into the slave cylinder slowly and let it come back out 4 or 5 times, then open the bleeder and see if any more air comes out with the fluid, when clear stroke the rod a few more times and install the slave into the tranny, you should have clutch with in a few pumps of the pedal, if you don't stroke the rod on the slave you may be there a very long time trying to pump up the clutch pedal
