Directly imported from my special source in Germany. Here they are, front parts only, to replace the old white and scratched ones and use the rest of the old Hella's

High beam is for H1 !! (not U.S. style) 55W bulbs European smiley style. Fits on E32 and E34.
You can see the difference in quality in comparison to the cheapos very easy. For example the high beam reflector is made of metal, not plastic. Net weight is 650 gramms per unit, check a cheapo.
Bought several sets and one is on the japanese auction house now. Somehow have to recover from the expensive investment

Not for sale outside Japan, as I already paid import duty, VAT and freight from Germany!
By mistake, instead of ordering a complete set of headlights for E34/E32, I ordered a set black Hella for the E30. Also trying to sell it in Japan, see the last item

Turner Motorsport is selling them for a set price of 649.95 $, PLUS the cable sets $ 40.76 for H1 bulb style or 36.80 for US style.

Cheapest prices I found on the net is here from Denmark

Click the U.K. flag for language, because when you click the U.S. flag, a link to Abrahams Motorsport opens, which sell them in USA as sales agent. So more expensive.
But I get them cheaper
Of course, still much more expensive that the cheap ones from InPro or Depo, but Hella made in Germany makes the difference.

yep...
there is 0 reason to pay anything for the lowbeams... just spray the smiley with oven cleaner after you bake em out and all the chrome will go bye bye. then all you have to do is spray em black.
All I would want would be the raw metal crosshairs themselves, because I am too lazy to go buy sheet aluminum and cut a set out. But for 30+ Euro (isn't that about $50-$60 dollars?) I guess I will get unlazy at some point.

Here the cheaper version, quote:
Is there an English version of this auction description?
The offered item is an assembly kit to make your white headlights black (both high- and low beam). The kit contains metal plates, the instruction manual and branding labels. After the conversion you will have black headlights which look exactly like OEM black lights. You need black paint (black acrylic paint, matt) for the conversion, this paint is not included.
You do not get complete headlights, housings or glasses!
You receive an English instruction manual with any of our articles, if you ask for it after the auction has ended. Please note that fees for international shipping are listed near the bottom of this page. We accept Paypal or Moneybookers, but we do not accept Cash On Delivery (COD) (Francaise: "Remboursement").

Probably needs heating up the headlights in an oven, separate the glass, insert the black inserts, re-seal again.
Shipping cost to USA: EURO 7,99

Well, the Euro is 1.46 compared to one USDollar right now, so not quite, lol.

The exchange rate is really a problem, not only for you, but also for me. Usually I import a lot of parts from Europe, but the EURO is too strong against the $ and also against the Japanese Yen.
I earn Yen and have to pay for the parts in EURO or $.
When the EURO was introduced the exchange rate was 1 EURO to abt 95 Yen, now it is 1 to 160-165 Yen :(

I remembered Euro was like 0.84 to US $1 at one tme... I got that Hella set in 2001... installed it with HID... Outstanding light output.
