M60 starting question

M60B40 car will not start on its own. It will start if it is "pop-started". Any insight to what the problem might be? I have a chance to buy my old car back and this is the only thing wrong with it.

could possibly be the starter motor is bad or not engaging. would be my first step in diagnosis if it runs when "pop starting"

Ditto.... I would say it is starter also.. my car exhibit similar problem... first attempt at cold weather is barely struggling.... and the second time turns right over even though it is only like 10 seconds. Battery is brand new.

It is the starter if it is not your battery.
